Global Law and Administrative Law

On June 23-24, 2010, the Aix-Marseille III Faculty of Law, the Luxembourg University Faculty of Law, the Washington & Lee University School of Law, the Emory University School of Law, the University of Windsor Faculty of Law and the University of Louisville's Louis D. Brandeis School of Law hosted the Global (Administrative Law) Issues Forum at Aix-Marseille III Faculty of Law, Aix en Provence, France. Administrative scholars from six countries and three différent continents participated in the discussions.

As with prior fora, there was an "admission" price for participation in the forum: a "discussion paper" on one of the forum topics. This year, two topics were discussed at the forum: "Using Courts to Police Agency Action" and "The Chief Executive's (President's/Prime Minister's) Authority in Relation to Matters Committed to Administrative Agencies". The papers being published in this book are the discussion papers that resulted from the forum.
