The topic of international law in domestic legal orders has risen in prominence rince the end of the Cold War. Recent decades have witnessed a tremendous increase in international agreements on various subjects, impacting on domestic law and proving to be relevant to domestic litigation. These changes mean that domestic courts have the potential to make a greater contribution to the application and development of international law. This series analyses and examines these trends, looking at questions of international law in domestic legal orders from a variety of perspectives.
